CERTIFICATION EXAM SCHEDULED FOR DETROIT IN JUNE
An exam will be offered for I&R professionals seeking the AIRS CIS, CRS, and CIS-A credentials and their Canadian equivalents from 2p - 4p on June 21 at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan offices in downtown Detroit.
Application forms to take an examination must be submitted to the AIRS office and must reach that office at least 30 days prior to the exam date, Applicants who have been approved to take the 6/21 examination will be notified by the AIRS office regarding the exam details. Need to Explain to an Outsider What I&R Is? Check This Out
As part of MI-AIRS duties as local host for the 2011 AIRS Conference in the 'D, the Board agreed to underwrite the production of a professional video on what I&R is and why it's valuable to community residents and leaders alike. Board member Ed D'Angelo proposed the project, and his enthusiasm overcame the reservations some Board members felt. In his role running The Information Center, Ed had previously worked with videographer Brad Richter and was sure that Brad would do a splendid job of capturing the essence of I&R.
