AIRS Online Training through Essential Learnings
Michigan Alliance of Information and Referral Services is pleased to introduce an opportunity to MI-AIRS members to try the AIRS Online Training subscription for one year and receive either one or two trainee slots for free.

Michigan 2-1-1 and MI-AIRS have set up a subscription that provides unlimited use of the AIRS Online training courses for MI 2-1-1 and MI-AIRS members. Instead of paying for each course, MI-AIRS members who subscribe will be able to use all of the available courses for $12.38 per employee/quarterly or $48.03 per employee/annually.
As an added incentive to try the AIRS Online Training, AIRS members from Michigan at the Basic level will receive one training slot and AIRS members at the Standard or Enhanced levels receive two training slots in appreciation for their AIRS membership. MI-AIRS members can purchase additional slots for employees at the $12.38 quarterly or $48.03 annually for each additional employee. (These scholarships are available on a first come/first registered basis. MI-AIRS set aside funding for these scholarships and will look in March 2008 to see the impact and the capability to offer similar scholarships in the future.)
As part of the package, each participating organization will identify a supervisor who will be able to identify training courses expected of staff and utilize reports that show the courses taken and completed successfully for each of your staff. The supervisor will also receive training about administering the system.
MI-AIRS is excited about creating our own courses applicable to I&R programs in Michigan or relevant to your specific agency or program.
